SCIENTIFIC AND CONGRESS ACTIVITIES 

Scientific research activities of the Academy entirely corresponds to primary directions of science, technique and technology development and to the List of Critical Technologies approved by President of Russian Federation.

Up to the present FTA remains the leading provider of scientific and study literature on all special subjects. Only for 2004th year scientists of the Academy published 13 monographies, 45 appliances, 536 scientific articles including 32 articles issued abroad. In the same year Academy workers participated in 125 scientific conferences, seminars, symposiums, 47 of them being of international level.

Each one of ten FTA students constantly takes part in research work. In 2004 70 works were published by students including 24 works done without co-authors.

Annually international scientific practical conferences of young scientists are carried out at the Academy.
